Requirements

Experience

12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Michigan license

Certifications

NIHSS (Required)

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

36 hours /week

Every other weekend and holiday rotation required

No On call.

At least 1-2 years of ICU experience (experience with vents and bezoactive drips)

*CCRN Cert Preferred

*Previous experience in a medical ICU preferred

*Experience with dialysis, CRRT, Chest Tubes, Continual Renal Replacement a strong plus.

*20 bed Medical ICU *Avg, 2:1 *Residents on the unit

Required Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
