Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Transitional Care Unit

Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36

Float Requirements:  Float to all inpatient units as needed..

On Call/Call Back Requirements: Able to take call if wanted

Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday 

Must be able to pass EKG test 1st week of hire

Minimum Experience: 2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience required

Must have 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU)

Candidates cannot move forward in the interview process without experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips

Required: at least one travel assignment must be completed

Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure.

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.

Required Education: Associate's Degree or Certificate

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
