Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required from last 4 years.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

ICU/ER/MedSurg

Shift: ED start times are 0700 and 1900. The CCU start times are 0600 and 1800. Scheduling would be based on need of the units with consideration for block scheduling when possible.

*Must float between ER/MedSurg/ICU. Clinicians MUST be proficient in ALL

Nurse:Patient Ratios: ICU: 1:2 ER: 1:4 MedSurg: 1:5

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: CCU: Sepsis, CIWA, respiratory support, DKA and ED: Level 5 Trauma, the ED care of any patient, of any age, with any illness or injury requiring medical attention.

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Recent ESI Triage experience and minimum 1 year recent critical care experience

Weekend Requirements: Every other

Holiday Requirements: As needed

Floating Requirements: This position may require floating internally between the ED, CCU and Med/Surg if needed. Float within Region 2 to SJMC and SCH.

Unit/Department specific orientation: 1 day of paperwork, modules, access,etc. and 1 orientation shift in the ED and 1 shift in CCU and Med/Surg. Would consider adding an additional shift if needed.
