Requirements

Experience

Travel experience is preferred.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Michigan license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Every other weekend

No call.

This position has basic medical/surgical knowledge to care for general surgical and orthopedic surgical patients.

Travelers for this position need to be okay floating between 2 MyMichigan hospitals in Midland and in Saginaw (32 miles apart.) May be asked to float to the other hospital for critical staffing support.

Oncology experience required

All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Facility will not approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer.
