Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 4 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Adults and Peds - This assignment will require the traveler to take and be exp with PEDS pts

PALS or PEARS

Nurse to patient ratios: 1:6 nights; 1:4 peds -also based on level of acuity

Nurse managers don't provide patient care, but they do rounds

Float to all MS units and ICU (taking MS overflow patients)

Scrub color: any color except all black. Scrubs not provided.
