Maine Medical Center requires all candidates to have at least 1 year of Facility Trauma Level 1 experience to be considered.
Preferred: Cardiac Telemetry, post cardiac surgery, chest tubes, temporary pacemakers, Familiar with Dilt, amio, nitro, heparin.
Experience with med surge cardiac/tele.
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Years of Experience: 2 years Preferred Acute Care Experience – Will accept less based upon skillset and experience
Float Requirements: First to float, will float to other med/surg units as needed.
Equipment: Chest Tubes, Temp pacemakers, Telemetry machine/monitors, Baxter & Abbott Pumps
Must Have Skills/Experience: Must be proficient in reading Tele Strips as there are no Monitor Techs on this unit also strong cardiac telemetry
• Preferred Skillset: -Experience: cardiac surgery (CABG/valve replacement/post aortic dissection repair), thoracic surgery (VATS, wedge resection, lobectomy), comfort with chest tubes, temporary epicardial pacemakers. Post-TAVR patient.
-Medical treatment Cardiology: Heart Failure, Pulmonary Hypertension. Familiar with Amio, insulin, dobutamine, nitro, milrinone, diltiazem,

• Type of Patients on Unit: cardiac telemetry, post cardiac and thoracic surgeries, coronary disease, pre-op, cabg.
