24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Obstetrics has 2 suites and performs approximately 80 deliveries per year. Mom and baby stay together in room. Surgical suite on first floor for C-sections.

There will be 1 RN in the OB department at a time, and will allocate another RN if a second patient arrives. RN will attend C-sections as needed and will be responsible for mom; there will be a Provider, CRNA, Surgical Tech and RN - OR assisting with C-Sections as well. RN will float to Patient Care Unit (Med Surg) when they do not have patients in OB department. They have Hugs Infant Tags for security, Philips for Ultrasound equipment and OB Trace View for documentation.

Self scheduling (rotational basis) with scheduling committee reviews and approves. Will work every third weekend.

Scrubs: Navy Blue

Orientation: Held every Wednesday, consisting of three days of classroom orientation and one shift with preceptor.
