Experience

12 months of travel experience is required.

24 months of Cardiac Care Unit experience is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 48 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 48 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Education: Associate’s degree in nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Must pass EKG exam.

Assesses and Reassesses young adult, adult, and elderly patients

Demonstrates basic competency in specialized procedures/equipment i.e. -Cardiac Monitoring -Care of patients Pre/Post CABG -Care of patients Pre/Post Interventional Cardiac Procedures -Maintain/Pull sheaths -Angioseal/Vasoseal -Specialized medications/drips/Titration -ACT Machine -Sedation -Pain Management -Chest Tube care/insertion -TPN/PPN -KODA -Central Lines - IV therapy -IVADD -Infusion Therapy -Information Management -Boomerang

Performs housekeeping duties when needed.

Maintains operation of patient care equipment to include mechanical adjustments.
