Experience
12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license

BLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekends as needed

Holiday Requirement: Will fill in if there is a need

Will float to like units here (4,5,6,9- generally won't take specialty pts on these floors).

May also float to Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center to MedSurg floors only.

Nurse-Patient Ratios: Generally 1/5 do have some patient populations that are 1/4-neck dissections, facial reconstructions, epilepsy pts.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Ortho- total joints, ankle knee, hip, shoulder; traumatic fractures; ENT- thyroid surgeries, lap nissens, neck dissections (donor site, new site with implanted dopplers and 30 minute doppler checks, trachs) and facial reconstructions; Eyes-Graves disease patients have surgery on muscles to pull the eyes back

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 1 year experience

Must be able to read and interpret tele - starting in July.

Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided: No specific color as long as clean and professional.
