Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.
No block scheduling.
D/N Rotation
Going guarantee: 36 hours / week.
Must have surgical experience.
32 bed surgical unit must have experience caring for patients after vascular, thoracic, colorectal and general surgery.
The most common diagnosis’s on their unit: ARDS, esophagectomies, whipples, sepsis.
RN Patient ratios on days is 4:1 and on nights is 5:1

Required Experience:
Chest tubes
Tubes
Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone
Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients
Trachs/Laryngectomies
Telemetry
Complex wounds
Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws
