Travel Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

Guaranteed hours: 36

Must work 5/2 shift.

Travelers must be separated for 1 year if previously a perm staff.

Patient Types: Include but are not limited to: Respiratory failure, CVA, DKA, Sepsis, s/p surgery, s/p cardiac cath with intervention, frequent monitoring and/or intervention

Skills required: Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival (includes MedSurg RN)

Titrating cardiac drips, some vasopressor titration, insulin drips, managing and discontinuing Art lines, managing and pulling venous sheaths, central line management, tracheostomies, feeding tubes, Bipap, etc

Floating: Units: Could float to 2 West (Cardiac Stepdown) or Medsurg (1:5-6 ratios)

Scheduling: Weekend rotation: every other

Will work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week – this is mandatory

Can we approve time off? Yes, 7 days – must extend to accommodate a 13-week contract

Holiday Expectations: scheduled per rotation
