Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required.
12 months of Step Down Unit experience is required.
Experience with Epic is preferred.
License
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Unit Specific Requirements:

Vent experience required. Insulin drips. Need STRONG higher acuity experience. Drips: Cardizem, Amio but no pressors. Airway: Vents/Trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow, Airvo

Very high acuity ICU stepdown patients. Must have ventilator experience. We get a wide variety of patients, respiratory, renal, surgical, trauma. Only unit in the hospital other than ICU’s that get trachs and vents.

Float to like/lower units.

Education Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred)

6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)

Critical Care Course (preferred)
