Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from last 4 years.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Ratios couple- 1/3, Laboring1/1

Certification: FHM (Preferred)

C-section experience required - Yes (circulate required)

Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend (could potentially be every other depending on need)

Holidays: One major and one minor

Scrub Color: Hospital provided

Floating - NICU (for feeders and growers only)

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 32 weeks - otherwise with transfer out, no VBAC, mag sulfate, insulin

Mothers labor & deliver in one bed: There is no nursery; newborns stay in bassinets in their mothers' rooms. Babies never leave their mothers' sides. They believe in skin-to-skin care.
