Requirements
Experience
24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required.
3 months of experience with Epic is required.
License
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
ONS (Required)
ACLS (Preferred)
Vaccinations
Flu vaccination required. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Patient Age Group: Adults, Geriatrics

Patient Diagnoses: Primarily care for newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients

Weekends: Variable based on unit needs

Schedule: No set/blocked scheduling. Self-schedule requests accepted to accommodate preferred schedules before finalizing.

Skills Required:

• MS/Tele • Telemetry • Interpretation of dysrhythmias • Telemetry monitoring • Use of Rapid Response Teams • Feeding tube care and management • IV therapy/Phlebotomy • Blood Product Administration • Central line blood draw • Peripheral Line Care/Management • PICC line management • Starting IVs

RTO required with submission, must be built into contract

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
