Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

12 months of Endoscopy experience is required.

Experience with Cerner is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Shift: M-F + required call overnights and weekends

Modules are required to be done before start of assignment. Modules take on average 3-4 hours to complete and the time is not billable

Prior to acceptance, the dys exam through relias is required along with acceptance. Must be completed within 24-48 hrs. It’s pass or fail and they get 2 attempts (test a should be assigned first, test b should be assigned for the retake). A screenshot showing the number of attempts is required.

We can accept the Relias Dys exam within the last 12mo if the traveler has previously taken. If your traveler fails the 2nd attempt, they will be made DNU for CommonSpirit AZ and Sac.

Unit: Endoscopy/ Procedural Care Unit

ERCP experience is a MUST

Cases: M-F - 8-10 procedures/day

Weekend Requirement: One call weekend/ month (call is from 1730 Friday - 0630 Monday)

Holidays: One call holiday during contract

Scrub Color: Provided

The call coverage is M-F 1730 - 0630; 24 hours on weekends/holidays; At minimum one weekend/month & two M-F night calls.

Floating: OP surgery center or Pre/post -surgical inpatient area.

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: polypectomy, foreign body, colonoscopy, endoscopy, EGD with dilation, Barrett's esophagus treatment.
