Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Long Term Care experience is required from last 4 years.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nevada license

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Wednesday-Fridays

Weekend Requirements: Varies but typically EOW.

Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation.

Call or Standby Requirement: None

Floating Requirements: To memory care unit, if needed.

Scrub Color: RN's: Navy Blue, CNA's: Any Color.

Common diagnosis: COPD, DM, cognitive deficits, comorbidities, etc.

Experience: Prefer experience with cognitive deficits; Need to understand how to interact with cognitive deficits and know how to redirect a person and not argue

Will accept first time travelers.

Unit Specific Orientation: 1 shift of Orientation with a preceptor.
