Requirements
Experience
Travel experience is required.
24 months of Home Health experience is required.
Experience with Epic is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role

BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

Position is 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Ratio: 1:6

Weekend REQ: weekend not required

Territory/County covering: Territory mileage radius? 40-80 miles.

Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned

Special Requirements: Required skills; previous home care experience, strong critical thinking skills, assessment skills, communications skills, collaboration with the PT. Knowledge, organizational skills, efficiency, time management skills and flexibility.

Scrub Color: any color/style as long as it is professional, clean in appearance

Compliance deadline is 3pm CST on the Wednesday of the week before initial start date.

Holiday Policy: BJC requires travelers to work 2 out of the 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day).

Fit testing: *Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper testing or will be expected to shave. No exceptions

Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission (ex: won’t accept any Background hits, will not accept DUIs, etc)

No medical marijuana cards accepted

Modules:

  • Modules are completed pre-start, the are required for RNs and LVNs and do not differ per specialty
  • Modules are completed through WorkRamp and uploaded to compliance report
