Additional Details:

Monday - Friday

8/12 hr shifts

1900-0730, 2300-0730, 1500-2330

Every other weekend rotation

Holidays and 1 call shift every 6-week schedule.

Required:

Two years minimum as staff therapist

Pediatric and adult experience - Preferred

Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital

Education: Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) accredited School for Respiratory Care

Floating: Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.

Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation if parking onsite

Other transportation options are available: bus, park & ride, private parking, etc.

RTO Requirements: Manager will review/approve during candidate review process.

Generally, all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required

Orientation Schedule: UWH orientation is held every other week – typically on a Monday

Travelers will orient at 600 Highland Ave, room F8/170 (subject to change)

Orientation is typically about one week.
