Requirements
Experience
24 months of Case Management experience is required.
3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Alaska license

BLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Placement will be at a regional clinic. Facility address will be provided at the time of offer.

Clinical Diabetes Educator (certified)

Guaranteed Hours: 40

All travelers are required to show proof of competed Covid vaccinations.

Must have completed a program of education in nursing from an NLN approved institution. BSN required, MSN preferred.

Minimum Experience: Two (2) years experience in a clinical health setting

Background in Diabetes Education required.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge base in the field of diabetes and public health

Ability to operate diabetes care medical equipment such as glucometer, ht./weight scale, etc

Requires travel to villages via small plane/sub-arctic conditions, moderate lifting of equipment, occasional long working hours.

Bi-lingual (Yup’ik/English) preferred.
