Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Psychiatric Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Adult Transitions - Required

Patient Population: ADOL unit takes patients from 12-18 yo

Serenity is a lower acuity adult unit

ITU is the higher acuity adult unit (patients with thought disorder diagnoses), SRAD has patients that live a senior lifestyle.

VINE is lower acuity adult unit

Includes weekends

Please note that days off are not guaranteed unless specified in the contract.

Floating: C/L is utilized where the greatest need is

Active Blue Card CPI - required to submit

Required:

Crisis Intervention: Providing immediate, short-term support to patients in crisis (e.g., suicidal ideation, aggression). This includes de-escalation techniques and appropriate medication management.

Dress Code: Nurses wear blue or black
