Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 3 years.

12 months of Vascular Access Team experience is required from last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

MVAT PICC RN - Required

Locations: Location will primarily be Bayview, with chance to go to Suburban and Sibley.

Shift: Monday - Friday, with an occasional Saturday

On Call: Includes Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm to be available to go into the Suburban hospital only if a line placement is needed. This “on-call weekend coverage” will be every 4-6 weeks.

Weekends: For on call only

Holidays: As needed for on-call

Call back Response time: 30 mins

Required:

Minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience

Some infusion experience - Preferred

Must have Mid-line and PICC placement experience

PICC Certification

Will need both MD and DC RN licensure
