Guaranteed Hours 36
Shift: Th - Sat, then shift swap once a quarter to Mon - Wed with potential to cover calls
Weeknight/Call Requirements Yes, no set rotation, take volunteers first, back up call rotations for sicks calls.
Weekend/Call Requirements when on the Th-Sat rotation
Holiday/Call Requirement If falls in rotation, will work Holiday with skeleton crew (no outpatient)

Call response time? within 30 minutes
Floating: Will cover the Boise, Meridian Nampa hospitals- all 1 big team. Rotate to another location about once per week. Rare to float to another location mid shift (About 9 miles away, see floating notes in Hub)
Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Will cover the whole hospital - will go to any floor where there is a patient that needs monitoring, and outpatient areas.
How many scanners/rooms does this department have? Boise has 2 bed outpatient lab, 10 portable machines, 3 bed adult EMU, and 2 bed peds EMU Service all 3 hospitals - will go to Nampa and Meridian locations - with training at each site
Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties Epilepsy patients- 50% Pediatrics, and 50% Adults, will cover 2 adult ICUs, 1 NICU and 1 PICU EMU- epilepsy monitoring unit
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have LTM (long term monitoring) experience, ICU experience; Must have experience with all Pediatric age levels- Peds make up 50% of population- NICU babies and babies a couple of hours old, Must be comfortable in all realms, all age groups and all disabilities, Must be comfortable using Collodion Glue- this is what they must use
General Certification Requirement: CLTM (Certified in Long Term Monitoring) preferred
Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? No specific color/t-shirts/plain/no patterns or neon. can wear hosp scrubs
