Additional Details:

Weekends - variable based on unit needs

No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff. Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule.

Oncology experience preferred but not required. Floating to other Med/Surg and Oncology Units.

Patient Diagnoses: Lymphoma; Multiple Myeloma; Acute leukemias; Chronic Leukemias; Sickle Cell Disease; other non hem cancers; Other benign hematology

Skills Required: MS/Tele; Telemetry; Interpretation of dysrhythmias; Telemetry -on the unit monitoring; Use of Rapid Response Teams; Feeding tube care and management

IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Blood Product Administration; Central line blood draw; Peripheral Line Care/Management; PICC line management; Starting IVs

RTO required with submission, must be built into contract.

Locals are accepted at the same rate.

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more. Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location.

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
