Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

12 months of travel experience is required.

24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is preferred.

3 months of experience with Epic is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Seasonal Flu Vaccine is required if working during flu season (September 15-April 30th).

Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis).

No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem.

FLOAT POOL M/S TELE RN (MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT TO 8 DIFFERENT UNITS)

Every other weekend

Must be willing to Float between 8 different units Float throughout the hospital to all Med/Surg Tele areas

Experience Required: Two years of acute care hospital experience.

Skill Sets Required: Telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours.

TR Band experience.

Must be able to perform Cardiac Drips and Reading Tele Strips.

Patient Population: Care for ED border patients; medication nurse in the acute mental health unit, and care for non-vented patients who are transfer ready in the ICU.
