This unit provides excellent experience with airway management, including new tracheostomies, for RNs who may want to work in the critical care setting in the future.
Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
Tracheostomy and surgical experience required.
Gynecology. urology, plastic, and colorectal experience preferred.
Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions).
Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation if parking onsite
RTO Requirements: Manager will review/approve during candidate review process. Generally, no more than 2 weeks off in a contract.
