Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

No Block Scheduling requests Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Free floating charge nurse to assist staff. Unit secretary and Administrative Care Tech M-F 0730-1530. Student Nurse Externs on variable shifts that assist nurses by performing tech duties.

Type of equipment : Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, Alaris IV pumps.

Scheduling requirements: 2 weekends/month, 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day), 2 Winter Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day)

Floating policy: C/L employees float as needed, typically to other ICU’s but can include other floors.

Patient Experience requirements: None specific.

Must have: Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience.

Advanced skills needed: Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required, preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT.

Dress Code: (Required uniform): Scrubs – black, red, or galaxy blue, scrub jackets/vests only.
