D5A neurosciences is a 37 bed acute neuroscience department that specializes in all thing neuroscience. Although strokes are a main focus within this department, other conditions such as spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, seizures, and spinal/brain lesions are seen here.

Cases seen: stroke, spinal epidural abscess, spinal cord injuries, TBI, seizures, brain and spinal surgeries, MS, etc.

Any additional details that may help the agency with recruitment and onboarding/compliance : NIH must be renewed yearly within this department.
