Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.

Candidates must start on the start date specified for this job.

Every other weekend. No Block scheduling accommodated.

Cook is mandatory float facility, all resources are required to float at the facilities discretion.

No holiday RTO. No RTO the day before or after the holiday.

Floating: PLEASE READ - Cook has the ability to request that any clinician float outside of their “home” facility as long as the floating does not exceed 50 miles. Travelers may receive notification to float 2 hours before their shift. If your clinician refuses to float, they will be subject to cancelation. There are no home units. Your clinician could be floated to a variety of units, including outside of their primary area of competency. If they are floated outside of their primary competency, the team-based model will be used.

Doc Due Date: Compliance deadline is the Monday, the week before orientation, by close of business. Additional Compliance details:

Candidate must be responsive and provide ETAs for all required items

Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting an assignment

If unresponsive or unable to meet these expectations, the candidate may be at risk of not continuing the assignment

NIHSS: Acceptable certifications: AHA, Apex, and BlueCloud/AAMCE

Details:

You will not interview with the hiring manager if the facility chooses to extend an offer to you for this position. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
