Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
18 months of Hospice experience is required from any number of months.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
Vaccinations

Will you accept a first-time traveler? If they have experience in home health and hospice

There are 3 primary field locations for this position – area served will be discussed during the interview Rapid City Custer/Hill City Hot Springs

Patient Types: Home Health and Hospice

Patient Ratios: RN: Approximately manage a case load of 20-25 patients

Required Education: RN: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing

Skills required: RN: Oasis, hospice philosophy, infection control practices, wound vacs, wound care, picc line dressing changes, port access, IV infusions, drains, critical thinking skills, catheter insertion, drains; Ability to drive at night

Scheduling: Weekend rotation: every third weekend

Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? Yes, approximately one 12-hour call shift a week

Holiday Expectations: will work Holidays, discussed during interview

Approval of time off? Requested on contract
