Every other weekend, Every other holiday
Shift Requirement: Variable day/PM/ night shifts: 0700-1930; 1100-2330; 1900-0730
Float to all inpatient units as needed
Specialty Floats: ICU, MS/Tele, Intermediate Care
Trauma level II experience highly preferred.
MAP Unit - Medical and Pediatrics (Medical and Pediatrics – travelers do not take Peds patients).
Most common Patient Types: Adults - respiratory illnesses, stroke, other neurological conditions (such as seizure disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic back pain), gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, other infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal.
Typical patient ratios on days 1/4-5 and on nights 1/6-7
Dress Code: Scrubs - Any Color
Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed
