Travel Nurse (RN) - Infusion Center

Clinic, Infusion Therapy, Oncology - Chemo Certified

Mon - Fri Will be at the offsite oncology office in Malta and must float to Care Lane location in Saratoga Springs as needed.

40hours scheduled with 30hr guarantee

Weekend Requirements: None

Holidays required if needed

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.

RTO requests after upload will not be approved. Must be available for two out of the three: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year.

Treatments Available:

• Intravenous (IV) antibiotics
• IV antifungal
• IV steroids for inflammatory conditions (Solumedrol)
• Blood and blood product transfusions
• Maintenance of Central Venous access devices
• Placement of Peripherally Inserted Central Venous Catheters (PICC lines)
• IV Immune Globulin therapy (IVIG)
• Hydration therapy
• IV/IM vitamins
• Care and maintenance of intrathecal or implanted infusion pumps
• Iron infusions (Venofer and Injectafer)
• Teaching for self-administration of medications (Humira, Lovenox, treatment for Hepatitis C)
• Therapeutic Phlebotomies

2+years Current experience in outpatient oncology and infusion

• Peripheral IV Insertion experience - required
• Port/Fistula/Catheter experience Required
• IV Certification - Highly preferred
• BSN preferred
