Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
12 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Additional Details:

This position requires monitoring of patients who need more care than medical/telemetry inpatient units but less than intensive care

Every other weekend and holiday

No call requirement

Dysrhythmia exam required

Patients are often down graded from Intensive Care, upgraded from inpatient units and admitted due to increased monitoring from the ER. There are patients with sudden or chronic illness, stroke CHF, DKA, Respiratory distress etc.

Adults(18-64 years) Geriatrics (65 years and older)

Education Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred)

Work Experience 1 year of RN experience (required)

6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)

Critical Care Course (preferred)
