On Call No
Going guarantee 36 hours / week
D/N rotation
RN Patient ratios on days and nights: Days 1:3, Nights 1:4-5, depending on acuity
MedSurg:
Chest tubes
Tubes
Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone
Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients
Trachs/Laryngectomies
Telemetry
Complex wounds
Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws
Stepdown:
Hemodynamic monitoring
Invasive BP monitoring through arterial lines
Nitro, primacor, dobutamine, dopamine drips
Bi-PAP/ C-PAP
Low dose pressors, vasoactive meds, and inotropes
Trachs
Complex wounds
Lines/ tubes/ drains for post-surgical patients
External pacers, epicardial wires, TR bands
