Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Operating Room experience is required from last 4 years.

24 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Weekend Requirement- Sat or Sunday- try not to schedule both days of weekend, 2-3 shifts per 6-week schedule period

Call: None on night shifts

Night rotation as needed by unit depending on shift offered

Holidays- at least 1 holiday

Scrubs provided

Weekend expectations (i.e. Every other weekend) Weekend Requirement- Sat or Sunday- try not to schedule both days of weekend, 2-3 shifts per 6-week Weekend- Usually run 5 to 6 rooms on Saturday and Sunday; all urgent cases on Sunday- 4 rooms run 24/7

Service Lines: Ortho including total joints, OTT; Adults and peds; General surgery cases; Robotics; organ transplants (kidney); ENT, Oral/Maxillofacial, Vascular/Thoracic, Urology, Pediatrics. Neonate & pediatric experience is preferred, as well as trauma experience.
