Experience

24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references in order to be considered for this role

Required Skills: Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, Arterial Line Management, Central Lines, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac and Vasoactive Drips, BiPAP/CPAP, Ventilated Patients & Management, Interpretation of ABG's, Suctioning, Isolation Precautions

Floating - Cook has the ability to request that any clinician float outside of their “home” facility as long as the floating does not exceed 50 miles. Travelers may receive notification to float 2 hours before their shift. If your clinician refuses to float, they will be subject to cancelation. There are no home units. Your clinician could be floated to a variety of units, including outside of their primary area of competency. If they are floated outside of their primary competency, the team-based model will be used.
