Requirements
Experience

22 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS & EHAC within last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding.

UT does not contract travelers residing in the following counties : Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris.

Weekend shifts per contract: Half of scheduled shifts

Scrub color: Dark Grey/Pewter

Skills Required: MS/Tele preferred, PCU/IMC/Stepdown required, interpretation of dysrhythmias, telemetry-on the unit monitoring, use of Rapid response teams, post cardiac angiogram, post MI, pre/post Cardiac cath, pre/post cardiac surgery, IV insulin protocols, titration of insulin drips, feeding tube care and management, hemodialysis management, renal failure, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line management, peripheral line care, PICC line management, starting IVs, Heparin protocols, Manage cardiac drips-no titration, CVA, surgical drains, HFNC, nasal Cannula, oxygen face masks, isolation precautions, wound care

BLS must be AHA, RQI, ARC, or American Safety and Health Institute
