Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Endoscopy experience is required.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Patient Ratios – approx 20-30 patients through the department each weekday

Type of equipment - Olympus scopes, Provation procedural documentation

Responsibilities- All RN’s are trained to admit patients, circulate and scrub in procedural cases, recover and discharge patients.

Preferred: PACU or ICU experience preferred, but not required

Floating Areas: Rare

Scrub Color/Attire - Hospital issued scrubs- surgical attire policy

Weekends and On call(if any): Week day and weekend call required for all staff, including PRN
