Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Willing to and skilled enought to handle up to 8 patients at any one time - Includes a mimx of total patient care.

No long term care nurses. Most recent 3 assignments - must be acute care MS in medium to large organizations.

Floating to other MS unit is requrired

Variety of surgical cases; Care team rounds to assist discharge planning; Bedside Shift Report; Great Teamwork!

Ortho is the "Sister" unit and traveler must be willing to float between the 2 units.

Nurses need to be willing to take 8 patients when needed

Required Skills: IV Insertion, PICC/Central Line Management, Vascular Device Access/Care

Shift: 7p-7a, Optional 48hr guaranteed hours
