Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from last 3 years.

BSN completion required

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a New York license

Start Dates: Weekly start dates 4-6 weeks on average needed to complete compliance

Total # of Hours Per Week: 3-4-3-4 schedule (no 3's, non 4's)

Call requirement: None

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Float requirement: To areas within acuity. Willingness to Float to Units Appropriate for Skillset.

Certifications: NYP only accepts EFM from: Perinatal Quality Foundation (PQF) - quick or National Certification Corp (NCC)

Cornell requires experience at a teaching hospital.

Scrubs: Navy Bottom + White Top or All White. Navy Bottom = Dark Shoes or All White = White Shoes.
