Guaranteed Hours: 40
Will accept traveler with 1 year experience, but traveler must have 1 year of ambulatory clinic experience
Will accept first time travelers only if have previous ambulatory experience
Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
Patient Types: Endocrinology - Diabetic patients (Type 1 and Type 2) and Thyroid patients
Education Requirement: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
Required:
Endocrinology clinic experience is highly preferred
Triage, patient education, Epic Ambulatory InBasket work, downloading of insulin pumps/glucometers (caregivers do need to complete a training on the computer and then we do teach how to complete downloads), rooming patients as back up
Experience with EPIC in an ambulatory clinic is required
