Minimum Qualifications - 3 years of full time clinical nursing experience; 2 years of current experience in peritoneal dialysis in an outpatient setting.
Prior experience in education and training patients in peritoneal dialysis within last 3 years.
On call required - Staff would be expected to take a 12-hour on-call shift every other Sunday and a 3-hour on-call shift following their regular shift approximately 2 times weekly.
RTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.
Block Scheduling: Not permitted.
Floating: Cook has the ability to request that any clinician float outside of their “home” facility as long as the floating does not exceed 50 miles. Travelers may receive notification to float 2 hours before their shift. If your clinician refuses to float, they will be subject to cancelation. There are no home units. Your clinician could be floated to a variety of units, including outside of their primary area of competency. If they are floated outside of their primary competency, the team-based model will be used.
