Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

OR Transplant RN - OR RN that will work solely on Transplant cases

December or January starts accepted

Shifts : 2x12 Day (7am-7pm) / 2x8 day 7am-3pm alternating for a total of 40 hours a week

On Call/Weekend Requirement: No on call requirement for first contract

2 years of experience with Whipple, Intestinal, Kidney, Liver, Scrub Transplant Surgery, Hepatectomy. Must be able to circulate/scrub – Hepatobiliary, Kidney and Liver Transplants

Unit will consider someone who can circulate only but would prefer both skillsets

Only 3 days of RTO per 13 week contract

Only 7 days of RTO between contracts if extending

Patient Diagnosis: Liver, Pancreatic Cancer, Congenital Liver and Small Bowel Abnormalities

Scrubs: Provided by unit, Color: Blue

Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.
