Travel Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Unit

BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

Weekend REQ: 6 weekend shifts in 6 week period

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours for 3-12s

Special Requirements: tele / reading rhythms cardiac medications and drips- no titration

Compliance deadline is 3pm CST on the Wednesday of the week before initial start date.

Fit testing: *Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper testing or will be expected to shave. No exceptions

RTO:

RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review.

No RTO the first week of an assignment.

Amount of RTO: please, no more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract, HIGHLY encouraged - (for Float pool, 7 days RTO max - hard rule)

Holiday Policy: BJC requires travelers to work 2 out of the 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day).

Valid State License (required at time of submission) - Okay to submit without license in hand in Missouri, HOWEVER:

• Illinois is NOT a compact state! PLEASE NOTE: It is required to have license in hand at time of submission.
• Missouri requires a MO license or a compact license in their home state. Missouri will not issue a license to anyone with a license/residency in another compact state.

Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by

All travelers will float within service line

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission (ex: won't accept any Background hits, will not accept DUIs, etc)

No medical marijuana cards accepted

Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.

All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.

Modules:

• Modules are completed pre-start, the are required for RNs and LVNs and do not differ per specialty
• Modules are completed through WorkRamp and uploaded to compliance report
