Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: peds to geriatrics, traumas- allow travelers to take, CAH transfers, Stroke, STEMI, SOB, abdominal pain, etc.

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Prefer previous travel experience but open to first time travelers.

Common drips: vasopressors, heparin, antiarrhythmics, (critical care drips for ICU holds, would be a 1:1)

RN to read and interpret strips, MD to verify.

Shifts & Scheduling: Manager does the scheduling based on needs and staff availability, will try to accommodate block scheduling based on need.

Weekend Requirements: Every other

Holiday Requirements: Every other

Floating Requirements: Rare ability to float due to census and staffing, to task/ or as helping hands

How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 1-2 shifts in the ER

Scrub Color: Any color scrubs

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
