Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license

Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Required)

Additional Details:

Patient Ratios – : 1-2:1 labor, 3-4:1 postpartum

Scheduling requirements: 3 days/nights (all twelve-hour shifts)

Floating policy: float within Women’s units as needed

Patient Experience requirements: Nurse leader rounding is performed daily to ensure our patients are receiving great care. Utilize bedside shift report, communication boards, and rounding.

Advanced skills will not be considered for the role.needed: OR Circulating, labor positioning/Spinning babies experience, managing OB emergencies

Dress Code: (Required uniform) : Burgundy/maroon scrubs
