Additional Details:

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

Shift: Day(07:00 - 19:30) and Night (19:00 - 07:30)

Special Requirements: The OBGYN providers are available by phone and work from a clinic adjacent to the hospital. There is also a provider on call at night/weekends. The residents that are in the OB rotation are in-house during regular business hours. Anesthesia is available in house during normal business hours and has an on-call schedule. Residents do assist with management of labor and deliveries, but it is the full OB provider that oversees everything

Travelers should be prepared to float between Providence Mt. Carmel and Providence St Joseph’s Hospital, roughly 20 miles apart**

Return Providence Staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler

REFERENCES - Extremely important to have on file prior to submittal. MUST COVER 1 YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT within the last 3 years. The year does not have to be consecutive. Client will not give clearance without full year of references on file.

BLS must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.
