Patient Types: Cardiac medical and post-surgical/procedures—CHF, angina, acute MI, NSTEMI, cardiac arrest, arrhythmias, TAVR, watchman, CABG, MVR, AVR, EP studies, pacemaker/AICD, TEE, TTE, stress tests, s/p cardiac cath
Please ask all travelers about charge experience and include in the offer info if they have/have not worked in a CRN capacity
Skills required: Chest Tubes, temp pacemakers (preferred not required), Cardiac drips (Cardizem, amiodarone) – protocols for rate changes Reading/Interpreting Rhythm strips
Floating: Rarely, if so only to the other cardiac unit (RN and Tech) May also rarely by required to float to Med/Surg
Scrub Color: Any color, professional
Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date
Travel Pairs: If you are in a relationship, EMMC will not schedule you on the same days. If you are not in a relationship, you can be scheduled for the same days if not on the same shift/unit. Managers will not guarantee the same schedule for travel pairs.
