Guaranteed Hours: 36

This is a floating position: throughout Auburn (or possibly Covington) to any ICU level patient or below; currently majority of time will be spent in ED overflow with PCU level patients.

Skills required: Cardiac Rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring, vent/trachs and bipap management, invasive line management, ostomy, general drains, chest tubes, IV medication titration; may act as “lead” in ED holding

Patient Types: Respiratory Failure, ESRD, AKI, COPD, GI Bleeds, DKA, Sepsis, General Post-operative Patients, CVA’s, ETOH, Overdose: NO craniotomies, major traumas, or major cardiothoracic

Charting System & Equipment: EPIC, Alaris (IV Pumps), Pyxis (medication dispensing)

Weekend rotation: every other

Scrubs: Any Color, no camo – Prefer Navy Blue
