Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

36 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36

Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend, occasionally every 3rd

Float Requirements: Primarily PICU and NICU but may need to float to general med/surg acute care units, EDTC.

Education: AD

Minimum Experience: 3-5 years Peds critical care or NICU. Must be able to function on PICU and Level IV NICU.

Required Skillset: PICU experience, Vents-Servo I and Servo u, LTV's, Astral and Trilogy, Oscillators, Trach patients, knowledge of invasive and non-invasive ventilation, CPAP, BiPaP, RAM cannula, NAVA ventilation, PEP, INO

Manage respiratory care patients, vent management, intubations, extubations, suctioning, treatments.
