Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

10 months of Psychiatric Unit experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Canadian Candidates: Required to have a US SSN to apply.

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on the license needed for the job.

On-Call: No

Holidays and every other weekend are expected

Will be trained to charge nurse responsibility

There is a possibility of floating to like unit (ARU- Inpatient Addiction Rehab)

Dress Code: Scrubs - Navy Blue

Blocked scheduling must be previously agreed upon.

Cannot approve weekends off without coverage unless specified within RDO.

Patient Types: Acute psych presentations - depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, suicidal, homicidal, dual diagnosis
